LEGISLATIVE 101: THE BASICS OF THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS

The School District's Mandate Strategy Team is hosting the Legislative 101: The Basics of the Legislative Process Town Hall Meeting Thursday, January, 28, 2010 7:00 PM at Braden River High School.

The purpose of this program is to accomplish the following:

1. Educate the public on the basics of how the Florida democratic process works
2. Inform the public on potential education legislation for the 2010 session; and
3. Encourage the public to participate in the democratic process which can be simply learning about the bills by attending this program to contacting legislators

This program is for EVERYONE and we look forward to seeing you all there!
